### PLEASE TAKE CARE with update.....

Post by karmathanever »

Hi everyone

Please please don't take this as an insult to your intelligence.....

If you are gigging/recording/actively needing your PA4X for any reason, then please give yourself plenty of time to adjust when installing this update.
This is a big update and for me I have some significant work to do to get my PA4X ready for my next rehearsal.

Clearly some are experiencing important issues and I don't doubt that Korg will already be very keen to clean up the serious ones and it's fantastic that these are being reported here on this forum (thanks to all).

This is a great update (IMHO) but I am personally finding it (and treating it) like a "new keyboard" in terms of re-establishing my personal set-up (GLOBAL, DIRECT, SAMPLES, STYLES,SET-LISTS etc...) - I'm not there yet and have much to do before I will be comfortable.

Hoping these comments might help anyone who is still "waiting" or concerned about jumping in.

Remember you can return to OS 2.2.0 - the instructions are in the Korg documentation.

The bottom line is "PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF TIME"

Kind regards

Pete,

After I installed the new OS, it does not save the date & time as even after inputting the correct date & time, it does not save it and prompts me enter the date & time every time I boot up. Any thoughts?

Battery?

(My battery expired a day before I installed V3!!!!)
Very easy to change - you need a CR2032 (it's all in manual)

Good luck

A wise recommendation.

Although enthusiastic to try the new OS, it can be a big effort to make everything right (and some things we have no control over, like bugs and crashes...)

Based on the feedback so far, I will wait for a 3.0.1 which hopefully will be released soon.

Cheers,
Simon.
