MS2000 Pitch Bend Wheel

Is it possible to set the pitch bend wheel to different values for bend up and down or would I have to midi to a master keyboard that has this functionality?

Hi,

No, it's not possible, the range parameter specifies the number of semitones that are bent for both the directions (up/down).

Maybe with a MIDI master keyboard. But it depends on the exact implementation of the keyboard.

Ah that's a shame. I have another keyboard the Korg N5EX that can bend using aftertouch at a different value to the wheel so that would've solved it but the MS2000 mustn't have that functionality as it's not responding to the aftertouch.

Not sure, but can't aftertouch not be used as MIDI input for virtual patches? (See Global Parameters/3 MIDI/D MIDI1 and E MIDI 2)

You could then use the N5EX aftertouch feature maybe to control the pitch of the MS2K.
