The longer I use my Pa4X with OS 3.01, the more I am encountering many of the issues reported by other users (sudden shutdown, pad sync, etc.). These issues seem to be occurring more and more frequently. Other than some global settings and a few MIDI files converted by Creator Bot, everything else is plain vanilla (no custom samples or sounds).

I would like to return to OS 2.0 but I'm not sure of the proper procedure. Can I simply reinstall it or do I need to make any special changes first?

inside the os 3 update tell you how to down grade ... back to os2..

if you go back to os2 .. i would upgrade to os 2.2

and wait untill os3.x.x get fix...

and i think you are right very little new in os3 and for me bad screen colors and fonts to small...
