Is it possible to record a Microphone track when creating a MIDI file using the record/quick record/ sequencer.
I'm looking to record "don't worry be happy" MIDI and whistle the intro via the Microphone. :D

I don’t believe you can do this with the Pa4x, but there are various workarounds eg. using a sequencer program such as Cubase which will allow you to combine an audio track with midi and output as either MP3 or .wav file.

But why not just use a sounding note for the starting key, use a mic to whistle and then hit midi play in Song mode?

See p365 of the Owner Manual (OS 2.2)

You can play your midi file and mic, and record to MP3

You can record the whistle on a Daw,and then export it in wav.
Then import that wave on a pad,and you can use it as you like.

If you want to add it on an a style's intro then you will have to create a new program sound of it,slicced, and you can use it on a style too
