Exporting Files

I have an old D3200 Digital recording studio. It has been working fine for all these years. Plus I actually make money making demo tapes and the like for folks.
Yesterday I was exporting files with no problem. Then I realized I had to redo some master tracks and got the file names a bit mixed up.
I got the dreaded "File name Already exists". I thought it was because I accidentally used the same file name. So I tried a very different file name lake xx - still same error.
Then I emptied the Wave folder totally. and it still threw the error.
I had read on this forum that it could be a "Hidden file". Anyone know where, or how to get rid of a hidden file?
Or any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
I dread the day that I have to toss the old D3200 and go to DAW. I love this machine and have made lots of money and, tons of recordings and many fond memories.
Any help would be appreciated.
