HELP:Prologue 16 Issues - 1.32 update & 1.01 Voice Updat

I emailed Korg Tech support 10 days ago and still no word or help. So I am trying here. My Prologue is still under warranty.

After I updated to 1.32 Prologue showed I needed to update Voice 1.01.
I followed instructions and got the voice update. however when I restarted it said
Update Voice...
Update failed.

Since then my Prologue is extremely out of tune.
When I hold Shift then Exit it goes into "Tuning Mode" which it will never get out of that mode, stays stuck forever. I have to restart.

I tried to Downgrade to 1.30 and it launcher won't let me.
I tried to Factory Reset ALL and it says "Data Error" then screen stays stuck on "Data Error" even when I use the power put-on, I have to unplug adapter.

I am losing my mind here, cannot use the synth at all.
Can anyone help me or guide me on what to do? I have reached out to Korg on Facebook and Instagram which I follow and haven't hear anything for 5 days.

Did you try just the voice update again? And can you re-flash with 1.32?

when I try voice update again it says
Update Voice...
Update failed. every time.

What is re-flashing?
with Mac once you run the updater and Prologue is up to date with newest version, there is no way to run again. Just shows up to date...

Ah ok. I'm sorry, this sounds like a return to me. I guess you've been in touch with Korg?

(I find that using the contact form is a better way to get in touch – they're normally pretty responsive that way, or for me in the UK emailing support@korg.co.uk)

Went ahead and dropped it off to be serviced not sure what next steps are.
I did use the contact form and it was much faster. 24 hours or so.

Will keep yall notified would like to hear the explanation as to why the voice update failed. When this happens it essentially Bricks up your Prologue. Pretty scary

I just bought a Prologue 16 that I received today, and I encountered the same problem when I tried to update the firmware.
I solved it by re-flash the firmware as advised by rgarner.
On both macOS and Windows versions, you have an option menu with a "force the update" mode, required to be able to overwrite the update.

So im going to vent here. I took this to a Korg certified repair guy about 40 minutes away from me. He ran updaters but confirmed through Korg it needed to be sent in and is acting very funny after the 1.32 update. Its bricked up, scary.

My problem is that Korg said they would pay for shipping back but I needed to "provide a box". WTF. I told them I would pay for a box to be sent but I don't have time to drive back out there just to deliver a box.

I called into Korg and explained that I just bought this thing and not only am I having to send it back but I have to wait 6 -8 weeks for it to be fixed and sent back, I asked them to provide a box. Asinine. They did not and refuse to

My Roomba 690 broke and was under warranty. They offered to send box without asking to get it to service facility. It was $299

My Mac broke under warranty and I had to take it to Apple store, they took the Mac and fixed it without making me go through anything.

Korg lost a lifetime buyer here over some serious hassle. I have to drive 80 minutes round trip to deliver a box to the Korg Service Tech. Korg doesn't care.

Ditch the Prologue Im selling mine as soon as I get it back.

Yeah, korg's management and customer services behavior is ridiculous.
They treat prologue users as scum.
