Hey forums,

I've recently got a 2nd hand EMX2 which I'm using in a setup with a Minilogue and Ableton, with Push doing some midi functions. The EMX2 has just frozen, and when I say frozen, I mean nothing responds, not even the power button.
There was also a time a month ago or so when the electribe would respond by freezing to other hardware.

There is no midi or sync connectivity, just straight audio output to my Audio Interface, the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the usb cable to send note or start/stop message?
What's your Ableton midi setting?

this has happened to me multiple times on multiple electribe 2 units.
only thing i can ever do is pull the plug.

a few times has happened over five years... including two days ago.

Disconnected power and it has always restarted okay.

A more recurring issue for me has been a Pattern 'freezing'.

This only happens when composing - recording notes, recording motion sequence, Last step sequence recording etc.

Press play - nothing.

Save - OK - Press Play - still nothing.

Scroll to different Pattern - press Play - OK

Scroll back to the most recent frozen pattern - press Play - OK.

Only ever when composing a pattern.
