Last night at my gig, while playing, my sound patches switched to different sounds intermittently. I use my four banks of sounds that I preset for each song. The patches would jump from sound to sound within the bank. This has never happened before.
I shut down the keyboard, rebooted, and it still did it. Then I unplugged my midi from my other Korg PS60 to see if it was a midi thing (when it was switching patches, it also messed with my PS60). That didn't work. Then I unplugged my vocal harmonizer Vocal Live 5 from the keyboard. That didn't work either.
After the gig, a friend who repairs Hammond B3s said he noticed that my light on the back of the keyboard was intermittently going off and on. We also hit the top of the keyboard with our hand, and the sound patch jumped. Could it be a loose connection somewhere?
Any idea what is going on with my keyboard? I have a huge NYE gig coming up and I need it to be fixed ASAP! Please help!
Thank you!
Jeanine

I bet it's something loose inside! Open your unit and re seat every connector on the main board, that should work...
