I have Korg M3 Xpanded 61 key. I use it as a controller often for Logic in Mac OS via MIDI. I'm wondering, could the USB out work directly into my MacBook Pro USB, the way more modern controllers do? I have an Oxygen 88 key for example, that just works via USB straight in, and Logic or Garage Band, anything on Mac OS recognizes it. Can you do this from the M3 via USB?

Yes, it should work as a MIDI controller over USB.
