Request for Korg TR Preload .pcg file

A fellow user helped me out. Thanks again.



I am trying to create a master set of Programs and Combis across all Triton models (Triton, Triton Studio, Triton-Rack, Triton LE, Triton Extreme, TR).

I have all of the .pcg files EXCEPT for the TR.

It is not available at any of the Korg Support download websites, nor here on KorgForums.com downloads.

If a TR owner sees this post, I am trying to get a copy of the Preload.pcg file.

I have a Korg TR 88 and if I did a factory reset and then sent you the whole PCG for all combis and progs, that would do it for you?

I accidentally (feeling like a total idiot) erased the sounds on my Korg TR rack. Could that same user, or you perhaps, send me that same file? I'm totally lost on this process, but I seem to have a bricked machine at the moment. I sincerely appreciate anything that anyone can do.

Hi Nick,

The TR-rack is a different synth than the TR (yes, it's confusing).
Your TR-Rack is a Trinity synth in rack format. The Korg TR is based on the Triton synth which came later.

On your TR-rack you can restore the preload sounds like this:

I picked up developing my app for KORG TRITON/Le/Karma/Trinity after 20 years of other things in life.
