I'm I missing how to save just one sequence at a time? If I have more than one song loaded into memory, when I try to save the sequence that I just edited, the only option appears to be to save all of the sequences. This means that my directory ends up with multiple versions of all of the songs saved under new directories. When I open those directories, the option to delete is grayed out. The only work around I've found is to only load one song into memory. The only way that I can delete the numerous copies of other songs unintentionally saved in the directories is to copy the one song I want, paste it at a higher level and then delete the whole directory. Am I missing something here? I would hope there is a better way.

I have gotten use to modifying my work flow on the SEQ.

Like you, I guess, I have an 000 version, and 001 version and 002.
All 1 Song file name.
Lets call it Rock and Roll.sng.

The versions have different titles. So I don't forget whats what.

Lets say my 000 version is the best, but I tweak it/edit something. Yes, I have to save 000 along with 001 and 002 [ which has not changed]

I simply over write the existing Song File, lets call it Rock and Roll.sng.

I don't use multiple file names, thus I don't have multiple SNG files.

I also create a Directory of File folder, call it Rock. My Rock and Roll.sng file sits there. I also will burn an audio file or final WAV. That WAV gets uploaded to my SoundCloud.

That song project is complete.

Then I can cleanly start my next new song, different SNG file name.

2 more steps, just in case.

I back up each Song project on a USB stick.


In my above example, if Song 002 is junk, not worth saving you can "initialize " Song002 and it will wipe out every program, track, etc for Song 002

Just make sure your Song 002 is selected . There is no ' un do ' for that feature.

Thank you! Initialize will be a big help. When the extra files get loaded in besides the one I want, I was looking for delete to get rid of those files in ram. Initialize gets rid of them in ram without affecting the original files on the hard drive.
