Hi Friends,
Can somebody share a good mic settings ( EQ( L,Mid, H), Gate, Compressor ) for PA 1000? I am planning to use microphone connected to the PA 1000 for singing and recording. I can start tweaking it, but if someone kind enough to share a good setting, will give me a jumpstart and will be very helpful.
Thank you

mike

I think this is close to the pa4x factory setting ,,, with the Adaptive Mic Setting on .....
I try to match it on the pa1000,, i have both pa4x and pa1000
and i can up with this ...

low med Q high
-4db 0-db .32 3db
589 hz 783 hz 987 hz

-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-7 0 1.0 +5
400 hz 3.0 k 800k

then i Watch Steve McNally play the pa1000 and sing...
he use just the mid up ...+6.5... all factory set..

-2 +3 1.0 +6
100 hz 2.5k 8000k
-----------------
he just change the mid
to a 6.5
2.5k

i went back to the pa1000 factory .. and found out .. to sound like the pa4x with Adaptive Mic Setting on ..
i had to use the Double .... set very low ... to match ... the pa4x .. if you like i can send you my mike setup for the pa1000 and you can backup you files first and try what i did ... you might like it or you might say it suck ,,, but you will know ... it all goood ..
i had a pa4x style set for the pa10000 that one of my old set up .. you can download that also .. its pa4 to pa1000 on the forum

EQ, compression, Gate and effects settings may be different depending on the speakers (if using external ones) and Your type/style of vocals.
I like compression set as high as possible without the pumping sound and EQ to little as possible mid range (a smiley curve on the graph).
But that is what I do...
