Monotribe range chromatic/key mode problem.

I've been using the monotribe for a week now and it's become my favorite synth of its size and class. Being able to use the chromatic scale applied to the ribbon input actually makes it a powerful little portable tool/toy for writing music. Only problem is the key mode isnt working as of yesterday. When I turn it on with range set to key it plays like it's in wide mode and when I switch it up and back to key it just reacts as if it's in narrow scale slide mode. Because of this it's very difficult to record steps in tune. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can get the chromatic scale/key mode functioning again? Much thanks!
