korg Sv2 and Sv1 sounds

Post by dazzer20 »

Just wondering if the sv2 can be turned in to the sv1 ? does the SV-2/SV-1 Reloaded - Factory sounds file really sound like the original sv1 on the sv2 ?

I loaded some SV1 EP sounds into an SV2. They do sound almost identical, but to get it as close as possible, I found I had to roll off the bass a bit and boost the treble. The reverb is also a little different, the new reverb sounds richer. Note that the SV-1 Reloaded pack includes only the original factory SV1 sounds, and not the ones from the two subsequently released add-on soundpacks.

So, can we use SV2 presets in SV1 ? :) It would be nice to have some new splits, layers or a little synth maybe :))
