Selecting and playing Programs NOT Performances in Wavestate

Hi folks
I'm still a beginner so please forgive me if this is a basic question:

I can easily select and play Performances on my Wavestate using its panel or through the Korg Editor. Click on them and the editor selects them on the Wavestate and they can be played.
But how to I select and play Programs? there is no button for it on the Wavestate panel and if I select them in the Korg Editor nothing happens on the Wavestate .

Is there some obvious procedure for this that I have missed?
