Is it difficult to create a new intro from a midi and play it with a style.
and can it be done on the Korg because I do not have a DAW .

Yes it is possible.
First convert the midi file to style, then with edit you can cut the unused measures. (Menu/style edit/cut). Save as a new style.
Then load style you want this intro. In Style edit “copy from style”. Copy the intro to this style. Be sure to pay attention to the record and cv length same as the intro measures on all the style tracks. Should be the same length as your new intro. Drums through acc5.
Save new style.
I just tried this with Coral Keys style. Used the midi intro for Margaritaville for this style.

Thanks very much Keymn, What if you want a piece of the midi song for the intro, if I find a way to cut using say Audacity and import that piece then do the same as you suggest would that work as well do you think.

You just import it. When in edit style, select the intro drop down, then menu/import. I would first delete the intro first and you will see cv1* showing it is empty.

Hi Marion
Just sent another PM reply
You must select intro1 as the destination for the import otherwise it will not change.
Cheers
Pete
