Just to say Hello

Hello everyone, I felt it necessary to say hi to you all. I've been a Korg owner for quite a while now, the Korg M1 back in 1989/90 having been my first acquisition, and in 2003 I also obtained a Korg X50. Just recently, I came across some guy offering up a Trinity 76 plus, complete with HD and Tri card. It was not a bad price, but having got the machine home and hauled it upstairs, I was very sad and disappointed to discover one issue after the other. Disk drive not working, sequencer not working, intermittent contact on the headphone socket and the left main output. Slider to the left of that delicious display wasn't working at all and the data entry switches only intermittently. Dam, what a shame. Also, the screen itself had one or two issues, which might have been a simple case of dirt or dust build up, but in the end I took it back and got my money back. The thing is, that machine has haunted me ever since. The sounds and the feel of the keyboard were quite something special. Just recently, I came across a broken Korg M1. Battery needed replacing and the sounds needed reloading, but despite its age, its still a classic machine. So that's me. I look forward to learning and hopefully getting to know some new like - minded Korg'ers. Happy days guys!

Welcome to these forums!

Me? I've only been here a short while, my time mostly spent reading, and I've learned a great deal.

Of course, with the recent purchase of my Korg Kronos, I became a first-time user of a Korg instrument, of any kind, in my whole career, so what else could have resulted, lol!

You'll probably be teaching me additional Korg specific elements with your posts. I look forward to it, and again, welcome!
