What USB connection does the Prologue have, 1.0 or 2.0?

Hey everyone, 3 questions:

What USB speed connection/protocol does the Prologue have - 1.0 or 2.0?

Are there any benefits from using the USB connection vs a regular MIDI cable connection?

Is either MIDI or USB more reliable and have less latency?

Thanks for any and all tips!

I prefer din midi for the following reasons
- the midi interface usb connection drivers is dedicated to do just that, the actual product is the interface. Not a side functionality that have very little attention.
- you dont get any ground loops since optocoupler through midi cables
- you can use really long, like 10m midi cables
- midi ports are there all the time, no need to power up all midi gear unless needed.

Usb cables I had issues with already at over 2m length.
Tiny bends at connector are enough to cause disconnect, I had on Prologue side even.
USB is sensitive to glitches and magnetic pulses, like I have a lamp with a transformer and if power on that some midi interfaces stop working, even the ones I use for midi cables.

And overall, usb root hubs on computers I had is usually 2 - one for front panel group usb connectors and one group for back panel. So if running audio also I would see to that on different root usb hub.

In windows at least, usb ports are in devices.

protocoll is 1.0 means 12mbit/sec. you don't need more for midi syncing, but you need a hell bunch of nerves for the sync in problem of the prologue
