The best solution is to bring your Kronos to a repair shop.
But, if you are a handyman, you can change this part yourself. See this video :

I wouldn't say that the touchscreen is a problem. I think the problem is in some board. The problem is specific, so it is best for someone who has already encountered it to answer me.

internet based problem solving for kronos is not necessarily accurate.
if you pursued the DIY on that 2015 thread, without success, then your K might be ready for auth service.
