Can they really call it MonoPoly?

I have no idea if it's any good.

Seems to be the fake paraphonic 'poly' in this case as for Poly-D.

If they went further and made it true polyphonic would be interesting.

Guess waiting for Pro 800 is way to go....

I kind of like the new Behringer MonoPoly. It seems neat and sounds pretty good.

I also have a Behringer Deepmind-12 in my collection, as well as the Minilogue XD and Minilogue XD module.

I have also been looking at the Poly-D but have read many reviews about the volume not being as loud as other synths. It made me wonder if the users who are not happy are using balanced cables or not...

I do not really care about the units being truly polyphonic or not. As long as they have polyphony so I can make chords for pads and play them live, I think that I would be okay with them.

Grace,
Harry

The original MonoPoly was paraphonic also, but I agree they could have included the extra three amps, filters and six more EG's to control them and made a four-voice poly.

Here the Poly-D "sounds only" real nice sounding

Not sure where MonoPoly fits in.

They seem to overlap quite a bit.

When reissues it's nice that they modernise a bit.

I think Roland did a good job with Boutique D-05
- 6 factory banks with all the cartridges Roland released
- then room for another 8 such banks
- then an step sequencer not in D50.
- all compatible with D50 sysex out there

Quite a catch I think.

Behringer Pro 800 - with 2 extra voices from original - way to go.

But really fond of Poly-D as well if to get one.....have to make a sitting at Prologue again to cure the GAS.....

A pro one, and a couple of prophet 600 - sequential stuff then
