hello, wanted to get some direction on how I might proceed with servicing a korg radias. I picked it up second hand under impression that it was working, but it is not. Have the official korg power adapter for it, and have verified at the power input board that it is reading 9V AC.

The unit's lights come on, the display comes on, though looks like backlights not fully working. Stuck on "RADIAS" at boot, won't go past that.

I took it apart, cleaned it with isopropyl, inspected it, reseated cables. No change. Any tips on how to proceed with service would be appreciated.

well a service manual is a must!

check all of the power test points!!

replace the battery, see if soft ware will connect to the usb for backing up...
reset to factory.
update to latest os.

most of the no boot issues start with a update that failed or the connection was interrupted.....

I have the same issue as described above. Was there any resolution to the problem?
