Pad motion sync

Hello, I'm interested to get on KP3+, I saw the pad motion function but even in the manual I could not find some answers :
I would like to use it as a "FX sequencer" like for example having a loop running through KP3+ and having the fx sync to the loop to have FX activated on beat 3, 5, and dry signal between.
Like an automated recorded movement that goes on loop and is in sync.
Is that possible? Does the recorded motion is in sync like a "perfect" 4 beat loop for example?
