How can I make the blue Electribe to an red Sampler

Hello

Is there a way to convert the blue Electribe to a sampler, because I read the tutorial on the gray Electribe 2, wanted to run it on the blue one, but I had to boot the firmware back to the Synth version. Has the Korg been fixed in the meantime, or is there a new hack
