Battery replacement

Post by Tom_Keys »

I have a Korg Trinity V3 here in need of a new battery. It's a CR2032-HE2 and is soldered to the board. I can't find a replacement.
Can anybody advise what to replace this with? Or if there is a suitable 3 pin battery holder that can be installed in it's place to allow for the standard CR2032?

You can unsolder and resolder directly a new CR2032.
Best is to unsolder and solder a standard battery holder.
A tech friend of mine installed the holder + new battery and said it was nothing difficult.

I’m bumping this old thread as i’m wondering if a 2pins battery holder and not a 3pins one is supported by the board.

or if you could kindly point me to a specific part to order, as I can’t at first glance find a three pin battery holder anywhere online.

Many thanks and happy Easter!
