Hi, I need a pro advice, and I know there are a lot of pros here!

So... I managed to sample an acoustic guitar from VST, I sampled 3 velocity layers. On the 4th velocity layer I've put Acoustic Harmonics. But it is quite uncofortable to trigger it alone with low or high degree of velocity pressing, so how can I trigger it while pressing the ribbon, or some of the buttons? How can I trigger a single Multisample, who occupies the same range as other Multisamples, how can I trigger it alone with the help of a button?

Maybe that is not the right way to achieve that, but... I don't want to split the keyboard. I want to use the external buttons or ribbon.

One way to achieve what you need is to first create two separate programs, one with the normal guitar sound samples and another with the harmonics samples.

Then use those two programs in a combi with KARMA as a MIDI switching device between the two. You can assign the switching to many different controls, buttons, etc. I personally would choose the soft pedal to mute the normal guitar and enable the harmonics alone (when pushed).

Another way is to use a double HD1 program. Put the harmonic samples on the second oscillator. Set its low pass filter to zero. On the filter mod page, choose whatever controller you want (switch, footpedal, damper, joystick), and set the intensity to 100 to completely open up the filter.

Or you could just use the vector joystick. It already defaults to blending oscillator 1 and 2. Easy peasy.
