Updating a version to PA4X Two files are attached

One with PKG extension and one with UPD extension. Does anyone know what to choose and what is the difference between them ??

It is for different SerialNr of Pa4x models - how to update the OS is described in "Updating OS" manual:

Unzip both files (.pkg/.upd ) to an USB storage, where the files are splitted into more .pkg/.upd files. If you try to load from the USB storage (after Intro1 + PowerOn and Panel Calibration) a message will appear, asking to select either a .pkg or an .upd operating system file. Touch the first file (with number 001) for selection.

When you make an update, installer will show you file compatible with your instrument. No need to worry which file to choose.
