Wavestate in combination with PA4X

I am thinking about adding the Wavestate to my PA4X. Has anyone (maybe you, QuiRobinez? ) experience with connecting the two? For example would it be possible to steer the Wavestate from the pads? As far as I can make out of the documentation "normal" steering would be ok. I looking at integration with styleplay and song play mode. Or the wavestate instead of a style.
