Hi guys,
I was happily playing on my Kronos 2 61 last night. And today when I went to switch it on…nothing. No power at all. I’ve tried different sockets and took the usb that was plugged in as well. Still
Nothing. Is this common?? What’s happen?! Help!

Probably , Kronos PSU has failed and you have to replace it , visit nearby official Korg service center !

Confirm outlet is good first. If that isn’t it, I wonder why so many Kronos have PSU issues?

I’d guess that the PSU gets really hot and stressed given they are enclosed in the keyboard with little ventilation. These power supplies are not the same ones powering a standard Mini-ITX desktop computer. And the Kronos has exactly this type of motherboard but with much less fanned air movement. There is just a single 80mm fan about 5 inches away from the PSU sucking hot air away from the PSU and pushing that hot air towards the SSD.
With the above design issue, this is why the Kronos 2 models (just realized your is a K2 model… add sad face here…) have a perforated back panel for better cooling. Older models don’t have this and could be a contributing factor to the high rate of associated PSU failures. Could also be the manufacturer they went with to make their PSUs used bad components, or the combination of the above.
SeaSonic makes a great PSU that can be adapted to fit in a Kronos. There should be a post somewhere here noting this, and iit may have been me who posted it. But the adapter plug is a bit tricky to make or you can simply create your own wire run for the included SeaSonic cable.
