Post by Jeea »

Hi All

I have the minilogue and the minilogue XD
I Can not get the minilogue librarian to work
It says time out and wants me to check the midi
Connection.

If i use the minilogue XD with its librarian it works fine.

I an using Korg usb - Midi driver 1.15.00.03

What Can I do to make the Old minilogue librarian
Work?

Hope someone Can help me out.

I have the Prologue, MinilogueXD, Wavestate and the software for all 3 just works as it should. No experience with the OG Minilogue.

Sounds like this could be the old 10 midi device limit in Windows. Check the link below for info on how to fix this.

Last Resort:
I've seen a few people mention that the librarians work without the Korg driver installed. They will just use the generic windows driver in this case and you might get a few pop up warnings about the Korg driver not being installed. But they still work for preset import/export and 3rd party Osc & FX.

When updating the synth's firmware/os, you will need to have the Korg driver installed.

This link is for the Korg Midi driver removal tool.

Well the minilogue transmit and the percentage counts up
and Then stops with time out.

So it does comnunicate with the synth. That is the weird part.
I have the latest driver and it is win 8 pc

My minilogue XD works fine.

Damn that is weird

Ok
Found the problem.
I had the 1.21 firmware.

Just upgraded to 2.01 and now
It works like a charm. :-)

So it was a firmware problem
