hello, and good morning, afternoon, or evening — whereever place you guys may be in this world

im new to this place so my utmost apologies if by any chance i happened to have started this thread/topic in the wrong forum??
with all of that being said though, after having scrutinized a couple of artists & their tracks who've used this aforementioned sample (always 140 bpm tracks by the way), i found equipment of 2 of many artists i knew were using the sample, both of which stipulated that they use a KORG, one uses N5EX the other artist a Trinity — It is my fervid conviction that this sound that i'm after (I'll be sure to post a link) is most definitely from those two korg variants specified and it would be very much appreciated if you guys are so pleased in helping me identify it in exact:
Phrase 1
Phrase 2
Phrase 3
An Alt. Phrase
ty for your time reading my post

I have a Trinity so am relatively familiar with its presets.
However your links are broken. Try uploading to a free site that allows MP3 uploads, or try Soundcloud or Youtube or similar.

Those phrases come from a Cappella track, a 90’s eurodance group. Mostly supersaw lead sounds. (Roland signature sound and Korg Triton) Nothing special by today’s standards but it still sounds great….and brings back memories of my performances at the large 90’s raves. Good old times.

ty, tho, im not after the phrases/arpos/sequences themselves
Phrase 4
Phrase 5
(quite literally the same phrase as the former 2-&-3 but if you listen closely these ones are of different formant which is honestly one of the more baffling parts about this particular preset — the notes got randomized formant

)
but thank you very much for your input man now i know more i'd hug you from the computer screen if i could
i do so NEED to FIND this preset soOoOOoOO bAaAd

Hi, I understand you’re looking for the specific patch. However it probably isn’t a preset patch, it could also be resampled. You’ll have to recreate it. Start with a supersaw/unison saw patch, some eq/filtering (aftertouch/velocity as input for some kind of formant/filter shift), add fx. And you’ll come close. Good Luck!!
BTW Capella is known for using the Korg Wavestation. A well known eurodance preset saw patch comes from the Korg M1, #K0104 Unison Stab.
I recreated that sound with my Korg 05r/w back in the days.

hello again
i suppose you're correct about a supersaw of the sort being utilized for this criteria of sound
...since i have tried recreating this one in another VST before and needed to use waveform oscillation of the saw variety,
... but only came half-close because this preset is much more mysterious and complex than i actually anticipated
if you'd be so pleased we could continue this discussion via discord where i could show you a variety of mediums me and my friends have tried our hands at in trying to recreate this thing let alone finding it 'cause god DAMN it is HARD
we even found ourselves a near 1:1 replica but it was somewhat of a false alarm 'cause we were only like 90% close

The clips have expired, we're unable to hear them.
Do not use tmpfiles.org
Upload the audio clips to a better website where they will remain online longer.
Try
http://sndup.net or
http://voca.ro or similar.
