Hello everyone.
Korg Forums / Irish Acts needs your help. We are currently looking for people to make a donation of as little as $10 USD (or whatever you can) to help us secure the future of this totally non-profit community we have for many more years to come.
Long-Term members will know that this day does not come along very often. We have always spent your donations very wisely and invest them in long-term solutions that allowed us to run for a few years in a row before needing any help.
Donate something as little as $10 and you can help us buy a few years hosting in advanced and help me pay for the unexpected events that passed where our old host closed their business.
So this is your chance to give something very valuable back into the community. It only happens once every few years. Support KF / IA and let us grow even bigger and better than ever before.
*******************************
To Make a Donation.
All donations can be made through Pay Pal.
You do not need to sign up for a Pay Pal account to make a donation. Simply make your donation by credit card and Pay Pal will deposit your donation into our account automatically.
Pay Pal account users can obviously directly donate from their own accounts.
All donations will be placed in the account registered to me.

Hi keys.
is this a different thing to the PA1X issue?
Yes, this is strictly for the running of Korgforums / Irish Acts.
This is the only time you will ever
see me asking for donations.
It comes only once ever few years.
and the amounts using PayPal are they in US dollars?
It’s in Euro because I’m in Ireland. Can’t do anything about that.
If you wish to calculate your donation in Euros before you make it.
Use this…
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi
For example, $13 of your AUD = the $10 USD.. which = €8 Euros.
Kind Regards.
Sharp.

I have watched this forum for ever wondering what the deal is much like any forum and fairly sure that regular members will send in there cash so they can get there daily fix.
Can i ask in all honesty why Irish Acts / KF promotes and spends so much time on one company and why you guys did spend so much time promoting the oasys which is an overpriced and overdue computer (5 years overdue)???
Me and the ol' wife Jenny would gladly pay £25 towards your cause if we thought it was for something that would make a difference to our lives, though we would more gladly put it towards something worthwhile like the red cross effort in the US, where people are dying and really in need of money. In other words what does this site offer new that others do not? Shall we pay £25 for a site to hear views from company employees that are getting paid in excess of £30K a year when we only get a state pension?
What were asking you Sharp and Dax is why should WE PAY TO FEED your enjoyment when the internet is full of music sites that survive out of there own efforts?
In very simply terms, why should we pay for YOUR ENJOYMENT? ((a long time watcher of your efforts)).

chillinout,
why Irish Acts / KF promotes and spends so much time on one company
1) We do not spend that much time on only one company. I suppose that the site owner calls it Korg Forums because he is a big Korg fan. But we discuss all manufacturers.
why you guys did spend so much time promoting the oasys
2) "We" dont promote or advertise anything. We are not Korg. But the list owner is a Korg fan, so he created a section where people can discuss it.
we would more gladly put it towards something worthwhile like the red cross effort in the US
3) If you only have £25 to your name, then PLEASE send it to the US Red Cross. Nothing we do here is as important as saving lives. But if you don't like what this site represents, then why do you waste your time complaining? Do you go to proctology forums and say the same thing?
In other words what does this site offer new that others do not?
Camaraderie, friendship and support that is sorely lacking at other forums. May I suggest you try K-v-R's website.
Shall we pay £25 for a site to hear views from company employees that are getting paid in excess of £30K a year when we only get a state pension?
4) We are NOT Korg employees, though some of them do occasionally come here to answer user questions. You are complaining to the wrong people. Find a Korg email address and yell at them all you want. And if you dont like Korg products, then don't buy them, particularly if you can't afford them.
In very simply terms, why should we pay for YOUR ENJOYMENT?
5) This site is supported by those who frequent it. You are obviously not one of those people, so disregard the donation, and also disregard this site in the future.
