Wavestate Native Won't Run on Windows 10

I thought this was an issue running in Cakewalk because it crashed in there.
But then I just tried running it from the menu shortcut after install.
I get the black rectangle with "wavestate" on it then it goes away.
An error event is logged in the windows event viewer but I have no idea what it means.

I installed it twice to see if that might fix it.

Does the native have issues running on Windows 10?

I'm noticing a lot of dependencies missing when I ran dependency walker on the exe.
Does this require C++ Redistributables be installed or something?

ok I guess it just has some unknown requirements to where it will only work on some systems.
Guess I'll just forget about it.

I'm sorry that you're having difficulties! If you can provide the specific error message that you're seeing, then I can look into it. As far as I know, the plug-in has no external dependencies.

no error just click and nothing.
Not buying something I can't try.
Korg emailed me and said its only a 20 minute demo but I never got it to start even.

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem on my second pc. It is likely to be that the processor is too old or doesn't support AVX? Native Instruments' Massive X has this issue. Massive X just gets added to the blocklist in Cubase.

Wavestate Native won't run in any program in my old Windows 10 PC but works fine in my newer Windows 11 PC
