WS Native is an exact working replica of the hardware. So yes, it can load user samples. There is a special file menu item in the sample builder listed as "Save Bank for Plugin". Then you have to import the saved file into WS Native.

The file created is grayed out and WS Native can not import the bank.

To import file created by « save bank for plugin « ( exemple :sample data compile bank )
We have to go in wavestate menu « setting »
and select in « user sample data » the file created
Then import first programs and performance
And restart the plugin
: it’ working

Maik has a tutorial where he describes this process here ->
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwtfMXwT2yw
He has another video where he covers how to merge two different sound banks into one (the Wavestate Native settings screen only allow you to point to one bank/samples file). That video is hugely helpful too..

Hello Korg Wavestate Native, Modwave fans!
I followed that video tutorial step by step but must have missed something!
Towards the end of the steps, Mark shows his new sample (bank?) bundled in a file with the extension .wsbundle.
No matter what I do using Sample Builder it just seems to produce a .wsbank file, and then when I go back to the Wavestate Native into the upper left menu and click 'import' I can't find a .wsbundle file anywhere on my system and this is critical for getting a new sample into Wavestate Native, right?
How is this file produced when using Sample Builder and where is it typically stored?

Short answer is that the wsbundle is used if you are also loading in saved patch data that point to your new samples.
A .korgcompiledbank file is what you want for only the samples and no performance patches. That's what you need to load into your Native using the librarian, after you have done the Save Bank for Plugin in Sample Builder. You'll need to point the librarian to the right folder location where you saved your sample(s).
A wsbundle is made in the Librarian program, not Sample Builder. That will save a bunch of stuff related to the patch data, based on what is selected.
Edit: here's a link to another video on how to import your samples.
https://youtu.be/x_mywmh465Q Maybe between the two videos you'll be able to see how it all works together.
