I have just bought MT second-hand and am not quite sure if the ribbon is performing as it should.
It appears to miss presses. Is this normal? How to do a reliable test?

Hi,

I would try it with something like a stylus, the sequencer switched off, VCA EG set to gate (middle position) and LFO intensity turned down;
