I put 128GB sdxc micro sd to my pa5x and nothing is shown on screen, even it doesnt show the message that card is inserted or removed.
I saw somewhere that Pa4x supports only fat32 formatted sd cards.
Korg Pa5x says it supports 1TB, and fat32 maximum capacity is 32GB, so it must support exfat and sdxc.
info:
Maximum capacity for fat32 is 32gb, also
maximum capacity for sdhc is 32gb, while sdxc card capacity is from 32 gb to 2000gb.

is it normal formating 512GB on FAT32usaraiya wrote:I used a 256GB SD card (SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC), High-Speed SD card, which works.
So, format it first in a PC using FAT32
Put it in a slot in the 5X, upper one if High-Speed SD and lower one if average speed, and reformat it again. It should work fine, then.

Re: pa5x doesnt recognize 128 GB sd card (solved)
It seems that there is an issue that you cannot format the drive directly in the keyboard at the first use and the OSdoes not even see the micro SD as present.Bescki wrote:I put 128GB sdxc micro sd to my pa5x and nothing is shown on screen, even it doesnt show the message that card is inserted or removed.

If you have issues in formatting to micro SD in your computer/laptop, you can also use a software to make it Fat32 and you will have no issues whasoever to use it from the start.

In this clip is ilustrated how to do it for 100% working. I saw something similar in another video a month ago or so.
