Moving from Pa4X to Pa5X

Some expert advice please
I have a friend shortly to trade in a 4X for a 5X. It would be helpful to know the best way to save/backup all the 4X information, including USER stuff and SONGBOOK entries (for future updates I guess).
Step by step advice would be helpfull before the 4X disappears. I have noted that some members have let their 4X go before such a backup.
Thanks

Maybe not possible, but I would strongly, strongly recommend keeping the PA4x for a while after buying the PA5x.

That's not an option I'm afraid. Any other suggestions?

Yes - don't buy it yet - there is much yet to be fixed. More updates this year.
I am in this position too - I will buy the PA5x but not until I have confidence in it and renewed my confidence in Korg.
The PA4x will not lose its value given the current arranger climate.
Also, with Roland, Ketron and Yamaha threatening new arrangers things might become quite interesting.

Hi, can’t recommend what else he should .
Fortunately I happened to save all my old Korg styles ( Pa800 , pa3x etc) as Pa4x .sets a few years ago. They were able to be converted for use in the PA5x.
I should have also saved my Pa4x factory styles as .sets before selling it a few years ago, ( somebody kindly sent them too me recently ) . Even though the majority of Pa4x styles are in the PA5x, there are some that are not. Currently sorting thru them.
Songbook apparently is not compatible at this stage ( never used it in my pax4) maybe one day, maybe never, but would be worth keeping a copy.
