Best MIDI hardware controller for Korg Gadget 2?

I’m running Gadget 2 on an iPad Pro 11” M2 2022. I’ve tried Korg’s NanoKontrol Studio. Everything works on battery, but battery life sucks. With a cable, the transport works but knobs and faders are intermittent (usually not working). Nektar’s Panorama P1 didn’t work at all.
Does anyone have a MIDI controller that reliably controls faders, parts, solo, mute, record enable and transport on Gadget 2?

(I can get a Roli Lumi Studio Bluetooth LE keyboard to work perfectly too, but it’s just a keyboard - no mixer or transport controls.)
