Korg damper pedal not working

Hello, I bought a Korg Krome 88 and a I have a Korg pedal(made in japan).

When I change the polarity (combi mode) I press a key, for example from the first piano combi, it continues playing the string sound without stopping.

The pedal was stored for 4 years and before that I used it in a korg kronos without problems.

(I speak spanish, sorry for the badly grammatically)
