5 awesome features every owner should know

Post by QuiRobinez »

in this tutorial I show how to use the features I use the most on the pa5x. I'm going to show how to use the new Mute system, the practical use of keyboard sets, how to create new styles within seconds, how to store things in the songbook and I will explain how to improve the sound of the pa5x with the Waves functionality.

Features:
00:26 Feature 1: mute system
06:03 Feature 2: keyboard sets
17:17 Feature 3: creating new styles
22:05 Feature 4: songbook
28:01 Feature 5: improving the Pa5X sound

Demos:
00:00 DEMO: Gladiator theme
13:31 DEMO: Gladiator keyboard set
20:15 DEMO: ballad bossa nova: Sting - Fragile
33:11 Outro

Yes a very good tuorial Qui.

One thing you might change (unless it is a bug in the system) is at the end when you go over the Maxx...you can only adjust the Gain and Q of the left most section when the upper left diagram is not set to the roll off curve. If that is set as per your video, you cannot access those two settings.

Which makes sense sorta, as it is a roll off so perhaps gain an Q are not necessary.

Just thought I'd mention it :)

you are totally right, when you select the roll off curve, that one is the one that only needs the frequency, the two other settings aren't used in that mode.

I did explain it in the original recording which was over 1,5 hour. But that explanation was cutout since I didn't find it interesting enough to leave it in there and I didn't want the video to be longer then 30 minutes, so I've had to cut out over an hour of extra explanations, demo's and other side tips and tricks. But what is left is to at least explain the processes at a decent pace and with enough information to get people started with these kind of features.
