I have been connecting 2 Monologues via midi, with some interesting creative possibilities. The 2nd Monologue in the chain (receiving) is occasionally drifting out of tune. This doesn’t happen when none these are connected this way; sync out to in seems stable.
I disabled transmission of all the midi transmission functions, in order for these monologues to be tempo synced only; so no note or patch linking.
I’ve been using a korg Electribe as my midi master at the start of the chain. I suspect changing patches may be causing this?
When I initiate the tuning reset; all is fine, but it’s liable to happen again later.
It seems to go about 1/4 tone flat.

Have you tried switching the chaining of the Monologues? That could give a clue whether it's the order in the chain or whether it's tied to a particular synth.
That said, being analog in nature, their differing drift may also be a result of different work load and subsequent heating of components. Even withing a single Monologue, I see that VCO1 and VCO2 drift differently and I need a retune (SHIFT+REC) some 15 minutes after powering it up.
