What is everyone using for a replacement PaaS sound system which is self contained and integrates well with the Pa5x?
The Yamaha MS sound system is ideal with the mounted speakers with the Sub-Woofer.
I have two sets of Studio Monitors KRK's and Yamaha MS-01's, but I don't have sub-woofers for them and they are not directly mounted in front of my keyboard, thus I don't want to use them.
Has anyone used a Sound Bar with a sub-woofer connected to the Pa5x?
Right now I'm using two Mackie Thump 12" floor speakers and they sound really really good, but its overkill for rehearsing / practice.
What are you all using?

I'm using Yamaha HS5 powered speakers purchased because the pass speaker was not available and on lengthy lead time.
They give a great sound that is perfect for me and my surroundings (small room) and they can be adjusted for fine tuning and way cheaper than the pass system.

I did once on my Tyros5 and it was no succes, The soundbar has a timelag because of the soundprocessor in it.

It's best to avoid using anything that involves audio over Bluetooth. Even if the soundbar and the Bluetooth transmitter both support Bluetooth Low Latency, that still introduces around 45 milliseconds delay.

Argh, yes I forgot about the dreaded latency issues. I actually tried connecting the audio output of the Pa5x to my HiFi amplifier directly to the audio inputs and I also experienced latency and immediately killed that idea.
I'm sure some keyboards have solved the latency issue as people would never use the MIDI Keyboards to trigger Soft Synths.

Connecting the Pa5x analogue out to HiFi amplifier shouldn't introduce any latency, unless the HiFi amplifier is performing some sort of audio processing. Having said that, for every foot of air separation between speaker and ear, around 1ms delay is introduced, so being 10 ft away from the speakers will produce a just about noticeable delay.
It looks like Santa was delayed a little, but his sleigh has finally arrived. The PaAS Mk2 has just been announced by Korg :-)
