Stripped Pro DRS and "pop" when plugged back in.

Hi, first post here.
I've got a ProDRS that I stripped right down and de-gunked.
Everything was plugged back together except i didn't plug in the keyboard itself to the board. When I switched it back on their was a loud "pop" and no power appeared to be getting through the circuits, any ideas what i should be looking for?
Would there in a wild chance be a link to not plugging the keyboard back into the board and blowing something?
