Hello all,
Sorry if this is a dumb question. What i’ve noticed is that if I use the same kit as some of the internal styles, the kick (and other) sounds may not sound exactly the same.
As an example, style: Latin Icon Style in the Latin Dance category, variation 2, drum track.
How is it that the kick sounds like that? It’s not effects or equalizer. I thought it might be some event (like pitch, other control) but I cannot tell even in Event Edit. Is there a way to know what they have done to make it like this?
Thanks for your support.

they have lowered the cutoff to -26 for that variation 2 for the drum & FX kit channel.
you can do this also when creating or modifying styles. For this specific example:
- select the drum channel on your touch screen in the style
- select variation 1
- press the menu button
- select the tile: Track controls
- press the tab on the screen called: Sound edit
- check the value of the cutoff of that drum track
- now press variation 2
- check that cutoff value again and you will see that it now has a value of -26
On the pa5x you can modify sounds in in styles, in one of my tutorials I've explained this in depth (probably one of the styles tutorials)

His tutorials on youtube are a huge time saver. I've watched them all a cpl times b4 even buying the Pa5x. Now that I have it, I don't feel overwhelmed, Thanks to his knowledge he gladly dishes outMikeMusik wrote:You are awesome my friend.

So for one style, I was able to get one of the variations to have it sound the way I want with the sound cutoff...
However, when I try the same thing on another style (new style), seems that when I do this, it applies it to all variations... Even when I go back to each one and try to 0 out the cutoff, it now zeros it for all tracks.
Strange I was able to do it on one and not all... I'm assuming something to do with (cv)s? or some setting / button to apply only to one variation and not all?
Sorry to bother you again with this same topic.
