31/3 BLACK LEDS!!!

I am not able to relate a good LED from a bad one. Could you please post a picture of the Good LEDs and the BAD LEDs.

Oh dear, I am waiting for an engineer from Korg to contact me to book me in for my replacement control buttons. I am more hesitant than ever now, considering that in the first instance I was not overly happy that I am having my PA5X dismantled to sort this out. However, I know this needs to be rectified.

This is troubling news. I wonder if there has been a revision post your warranty work and perhaps you have been an early adopter of this.

The important question that needs to be answered before myself and others have their work carried out is: are we receiving an early or new revision to fix this known problem?

Where are you located and how did Korg fix the problem last time?

I have owned three PA5X boards here in the USA. The frst one developed this problem right away. I bought a second one and then took the frst one in to the service center. Korg had them send it back to Korg and sent me a replacement board. (I know it was a new board because the end caps were different. The end caps on the first batch of PA5X boards was brown and the new ones are black.) In any event, when I got that one back, I took the second board in because it had developed that same problem. Korg sent parts to the service center and I got that board back recently. So far, the issue hasn't reappeared in the past ~ two weeks of light use.

In the meantime, the replacement board Korg has sent me had developed this problem and so that board is currently in the shop for the LEDs to be repaired.

Well this one is 4 weeks, And BLACK sides!

I will not accept this, they must and will fix it!
4300 euros for this NO WAY!

I have the same for a few butttons for months now. Local dealer said that the answer from Korg was that it is normal like this...

The repair centre in The Netherlands told me that Korg is investigating the issue and they at this moment do not know the reason why this is a problem.

This information is incorrect...

Korg have acknowledged this issue and are sending engineer out to customers' homes (in the Uk) to fix this.

What we now don't know... are the replacement kits also faulty as seen with Asena warranty work?

For me to allow Korg to dismantle my PA5X, I will need to know in detail how they have resoved this issue, and I intended to find out, and I will report back here.....

YEP they are more black today than yesterday

So weird! I have had my Pa5X over a year now and zero issue as mentioned here. Sounds like a QC issue from the parts supplier. Who knows?

Well i do not think this is anything you can fix with an OS Update!
