Pa700 sequenced files with lyrics

I have started again to make songs with the Pa700. First quick record the chord pattern.

First question, could there be any software to speed up the chord inputting? Like band in a box? So I could input the chords wtih BIAB and then export them as korg compatible midi file WITH THE CHORDS? Now when I do that with BIAB 2017, korg lyrics display contains no chords at all. It does contain chords if I use the korg only quick recorded file.

Secondly, I would like to add lyrics to the BIAB/korg sequenced midi. IS there a good program to do that? I can do that with BIAB, but then I lose the chord info from the lyrics...

that worked thank you :) I could inject the lyrics WITHOUT messing the chords for the korg itself.

One more thing, when playing a song which was made in korg quick record, I can record solos with ENSEMBLE working ONLY in quick record? the ensemble does not work in Multitrack sequencer, EVENTHOUGH song was made with the same instrument.

Also when playing song back like in song play, the korg does not know the chords, even though it knows the chords, and ensemble does nothing. Is there anyway to korg to let know the chords when playing song?

I can't help you with Ensemble - its not a feature I ever use.

For those interested in nice sounding midi files with lyrics and chords I'll provide a link to my collection here:

Mostly 70's music (Beatles, Eagles, Elton John, Bread, Moody Blues etc.)
The piano/EP/guitar track has been muted to allow you to play and sing along.

Was just thinking of making a duet with the guitarist with korg pa700, seems that post covid restaurants don't like to book 4 people or more bands anymore.

Ensemble is a function in Styleplay mode

When playing a song, the arranger is in Songplay mode, but ENSEMBLE is a function in Style mode. Only with Quick Record the arranger is in style mode and uses chord recognition to record the recognized chords.

With Backing Sequence (Quick Record) you just recorded your live performance on the keyboard accompanied by the STYLES.

After saving, this ‘quick song’ chords will be converted for Multitrack sequencing into Midi messages for an ordinary sixteen-tracks MIDI Song.

Contrary to your opinion that song do not know the chords, but plays them as saved in MIDI note-messages in Songplay-Mode, without the possibility to use ENSEMBLEs features (chord recognition).

Very cool traditional beat music, of which there is less and less in the media flooded by modern crap. Well, it is not only in Finland that there is a trend of reducing traditional lineups to duos and trios for economic reasons. This phenomenon is also occurring in Poland. And it's a pity...
