PA4X Strangeness with midi keyboard.

Hi Everyone I hope that someone can help.
I have a Netkar impact gx61 Midi keyboard connected via USB
It has been working fine for a couple of weeks,
I am using a string voice on the Midi keyboard and after a while it seems to add a shimmering effect to the voice.
Now I am getting a note continually playing from the midi keyboard voice.
If I turn just the midi keyboard off, it makes no difference.
Turning off the PA4X and then tuning it back on again resets the thing and for a while it plays normally.
I will be thankful for any help.
Best regards,
Barry.

That sounds like a midi loop or an issue with the sustain or sample looping

Ho There Aripearlmusic,
and many thanks for your reply.
As far as I am aware there is no looping taking place unless it is in a way that I do not understand. However if it is any of the things that you have mentioned how do I fix it?.
Many thanks,
Barry

Make sure that midi out channels are turned off and filter system exclusive and program changes on both the input and output filters

Hi There Ari Pearl Music,
Many thanks for your help.
Midi out and filters are all off.
Is there anything that I should look at.
Best regards,
Barry.

filter prg change and sys exclusive on the midi in and out filters.

midi in chord channels should be off as well. thats on the midi in control page.

double check that the lower sound is turned off and press shift + memory.

if memory mode is on chord+lower then the sound could be the lower backing which you can turn off by either pressing the memory button or by lowering the volume of Lower to 0 and then locking lower from global-general controls-control-lower lock on
