It updates the OS which in this case adds new features as well as a bug fix.
It basically will restore the 5x to a new, out of the box condition.
User data will be wiped.
Read this thread which is about creating a SaveAll file, note that to reload user data the Settings folder needs to be deleted before loading the SaveAll file
