gutting the Kronos ?

cutting out the weight ? I have the X 73 , and I'm getting too old to lug it about . I'm thinking of taking all the guts out and putting it in a lightweight box/case , and use a midi controller keyboard with it . kind of like a rack mount . does anyone know if anything like this has been tried ? if so , links please

Man, yes there was one bloke on this forum taking off the keyboard.
Can't find it right now....
