Trip to Korg U.K. Headquarters.

Hi,
Last Friday morning my wife and I travelled up from London to Korg Headquarters at Milton Keynes. We took along my PA5X (61 note) as it was quite 'poorly'. The left side of the keyboard had ceased working and none of the sliders and buttons on that side were functioning. I could not access the style section and the only thing I could play were my Keyboard Sets on the right of the keyboard. I had pre-arranged the trip with them several weeks before and the Engineers met us on arrival. They quickly decided that the only course of action was to replace the internal Board that covered the left side of the PA5X.
While the Engineers were working on my PA5X, we drove three miles to Bletchley Park ( home to the World War 2 'Enigma' Codebreakers). We spent over five hours there before heading back to Korg U.K. to collect my (now repaired) PA5X. I have to commend Korg and their staff for the kind manner and efficiency in which they dealt with my problem. They even placed a couple of small musical gifts in the keyboard box that I uncovered (once I was back home).
This is the second time my keyboard has been to Korg U.K. Headquarters in the last four months. Firstly, for all the Led's to be replaced and secondly, for the replacement circuit board to be fitted. I have tested the keyboard and all seems to be working well.
I've had numerous Korg keyboards over the years without any problems, whereas owning the PA5X has been a 'rocky' Road for me personally. Hopefully with the imminent O/S update 1.4.0 on the horizon it will be an opportunity for all PA5X owners to move forward. I am certainly feeling more optimistic now.
