Factory Styles and Their Keyboard Sets

Post by RoccoD »

Hello All,

Another basic question that I have to ask! For all of the factory styles there is an associated Keyboard Set. As far as I can see, that Keyboard Set is not saved as a factory keyboard set. Is that keyboard set stored anyplace? When I did a search it couldn't find them anywhere. Thanks!

Hi Rocco,
Actually, every Factory Style comes with 4 Keyboard Sets.
Not all of them are in the Keyboard Set library.
The Korg programmers edited them with sounds, FX, volumes etcetera to fit the Style.
You can easily save a KS that you like to the user area, so you can use it with other styles.
It’s very inspiring to explore these Style KS. There are lots of very nice ones!
Sometimes they have used similar names for very different (sounding) KS.
Have fun exploring them (and/or editing them to your liking).
Musical greetz,
